# Bellwise

> Bellwise is a school management app for nursery, primary, secondary and Islamiyya schools, universities, polytechnics and colleges. It keeps results, attendance, fees and parents together in one safe place. Bellwise is built and supported by Limawa Tech Ltd (RC 9643103), a Nigerian technology company.

## What Bellwise does

- Results and report cards: scores, positions and comments become report cards with the school's logo, stamp and signature. Nothing is released until the school owner approves.
- Attendance: teachers mark attendance per subject; parents are told the same day if a child is absent. Staff attendance is included.
- Fees and finance: fee bills, receipts, debtors and expenses. Parents can pay online straight into the school's own account, or pay at the bursary.
- Parents: messages, announcements, absence excuses and phone notifications.
- Tertiary institutions: course registration, lecturer to HOD to Dean result approval, GPA and CGPA, course forms and result slips.
- Daily reminders by phone notification for owners, teachers and parents.
- Works on any phone: install from the browser (Android and iPhone) like a normal app.

## Who uses it

- School owners: today's attendance, fees collected, approvals and an activity log of sensitive actions.
- Teachers: their own classes and subjects — attendance, scores, comments and study materials.
- Parents: each child's attendance, results, fees, timetable and messages with the school.
- Students (tertiary): courses, handouts, results and CGPA, using their matric number.

## Privacy and security

Each school's records are kept separate, only the right people see each record, passwords are never stored in plain text, accounts lock after repeated wrong passwords, sensitive actions are recorded, and payment keys are encrypted.

## Getting started

Limawa Tech sets up the school and gives the owner a login. The school adds classes, staff and students (or imports a spreadsheet), and Bellwise creates parent logins automatically. Most schools are ready in a day. To request Bellwise or a free demo, use the contact form at https://bellwiseapp.com/welcome/#contact
